Using a condom is easy but we have a few tips to help make sure you get it right.

Do check for the expiration date - out of date condoms may be less reliable.
Do inspect a condom carefully before using.
Do use water based lubricants with condoms to make sex more comfortable.
Do use a new condom if accidentally put on inside out.
Do use a different condom between oral sex and penetrative sex.
Do use the correct size condom. Wearing the wrong size can make the condom slip off or rip during sex.
Do use a non-latex condom if you or your partner has a latex allergy.

Do not use a condom more than once.
Do not use oil based lubricants with condoms. This includes baby oil, Vaseline and lotion.
Do not use teeth to open a condom. Be careful not to damage the condom with fingernails or piercings.
Do not flush a condom down the toilet. It may block the toilet or reappear hours later.
